Music and Dance

Having started out on viola at the age of nine, Ana has participated in a wide range of musical ensembles over the years, both on the artistic and the administrative side. This has included co-organising world music events and jointly running a weekly Argentine Tango night in London.

Ana left full-time employment in September 2011 to dedicate more time towards her activity in the music industry, and is now working with professional musicians in the management of their careers.

Ana is a committed and leading member of two Gypsy/Balkan and Mediterranean folk music groups, in which she plays accordion. She also has over ten years of experience of playing viola in amateur and semi-professional orchestras. Ana has performed in a range of venues, including the Union Chapel, the Tabernacle, Cecil Sharp House, St. John’s Waterloo, University College London, Ritzy Brixton, Notting Hill Arts Club, Jamboree and the Inn on the Green, and at several UK world music festivals, including Rhythms of the World and the Golowan Festival.
